Want to accelerate your personal productivity
Use blank spaces of time well. A blank space of time is any amount of time in which you are waiting for others, or you are put on hold for whatever reason. Perhaps you are waiting for a meeting to start.
Blank spaces can be used in two general ways. One: use blank spaces of time to complete mini-tasks that might take only a few minutes. Always have something with you that you could be working on, or carry an article with you to read. Two: use blank spaces to manage your energy level. It often takes only five minutes or so to win back energy. Change a routine; take a walk around the building, do stretching or some deep breathing. These techniques can work wonders. It’s just as important to manage your energy as it is to manage your time.
Blank spaces of time are golden opportunities. Don’t let them go to waste.

90 Day Goals
The farther out we plan, the less likely the event is going to occur so most long range planning doesn’t work. So try setting goals with 90 day deadlines. You will find that 90 days is far enough out there to succeed with many goals, but it’s close enough in to motivate you to get started. Keep goals accessible.

Group Like Projects
Attack Your Day! Studies have been done about the power of grouping like projects, it drives efficiency.
Here is how it works. If you have a certain amount of corresponding to do, do it all at once. If you have a certain amount of telephone calling to do, do it all at once. If you are in sales and have a several customer proposals to do, do them all at once. Block time and do group like projects all at once.
Its a great habit to get in to and is an effective way to get activities done. If you do this, you will be more efficient.
